A diagram of the pulsation cycle of Type I Cepheid variable stars that I made for my astrophysics lab class.
I could probably make the wording better on the descriptions… I’ll upload an improved version after finals (I feel like I should include that step 4 happens because the helium is now too cool to counteract the star’s gravity any longer)
